I had been eye balling these for quite some time and the price always held me back. My 2024 Rubicon X 4xe came with the jeep rubber floor mats and everytime I looked at these, my brain said "damn thats expensive" and "what you have is good enough".
While I can still agree to both of those statements, I am 100% glad that I bought these and wish I would have done so sooner. They are flat out awesome. No more sand/debris creeping up and over the edge of the jeep floor mats. No more worrying spilled water jugs soaking the carpet. No more worrying about anything, really. Friggin love it.
They were not hard to install, but they did take a little coercion. I pulled all my seat bolts though (easy enough to do) and that was the butter that made the install easy. I think it would have been a hell of a fight if I would have tried to install these only removing the front two.
Another post I read talked about flexibility issues when trying to tuck them into the right position. It was suggested to leave these in the sun for a bit to make them more pliable. This worked great as well, however.....the black sucks in and holds heat like the pits of hell lol. This significantly warms up your tiny little foot well workspace. Again, all seat bolts removed, not as much of an issue. I also have some aluminum storage pockets that still fit like a glove after I pulled the carpet and installed these. I honestly didn't think I would be able to get them mounted back in, but sure enough, they mounted right back up.
I am absolutely stoked to have these installed and look forward to years of use and protection. A 110% worthwhile investment, in my opinion. JUST TAKE ALL YOUR SEAT BOLTS OUT ON THE INSTALL. You can thank me later.
