What's the difference between
Armorlite and spray-in liners?
Armorlite Flooring System
-
Easy to Install
Professional installation NOT required; nothing to remove from the interior for installation, no tools required. Fully DIY!
-
Thermal Protection
Offers the best thermal insulation (350˚F threshold) against heat transfer from the engine, transmission and exhaust through the floor. -
Water Drainage
Optimal water management to move water to the drain holes and out of the vehicle. Drain holes included in the flooring are designed to move water directly through the vehicle. If large quantities of water should flood the vehicle and get under the Armorlite flooring system, its 100% polyester bottom layer is completely mold and mildew resistant. -
Drain Plugs
Unique drain plugs carry water completely through and out of the bottom of the vehicle. -
Water Channeling Design
Sculpting to the inboard and outboard edges of the floor keep water channeling to the drain. -
Sound Insulation
Insulates against noise, keeping out tire, road and engine noise.
-
Cleanability
Armorlite’s tough surface resists staining and returns to factory clean with only light brushing with dish soap.
Spray-in Liners
-
Easy to Install
Requires removing most of the vehicle interior components and a professional installation; requires leaving the vehicle with the installer.
-
Thermal Protection
Offers no thermal management properties whatsoever. When the floor heats up, so does the interior of the vehicle.
-
Water Drainage
Offers no additional drainage support.
-
Drain Plugs
Does not include drain plugs.
-
Water Channeling Design
Offers no additional channeling design.
-
Sounds Insulation
No acoustical insulator to stop wheel, road and engine noise from entering the cab allows for unwanted interior noise. -
Cleanability
Spray in floors trap stains from mud, dirt, fine dust and road salt.
